Affordable Advertising Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates NextDayRefund.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit or use our Platform. Please read it carefully. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Advertisers / Service Providers: Name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, ZIP code(s), website URL, business description, uploaded images and logo files, and banner advertisement content. Payment information is processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
  • Users (Consumers / Taxpayers): Name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and any message submitted through the lead contact form on Provider listing pages.
  • ZIP Reservation Visitors: Email address and ZIP code when you enter your information to receive availability alerts for a specific ZIP code territory.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address (stored as a one-way anonymized hash — your exact IP is never retained)
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Pages visited, ZIP codes searched, and time spent on the Platform
  • Referring URLs and search terms used to find the Platform
  • Cookie data and browser localStorage session identifiers
  • Banner advertisement click events (see Section 3B for details)

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Payment status and transaction identifiers from Stripe (our payment processor)
  • Delivery and bounce status from Resend (our email delivery provider)

D. Analytics

We use PostHog to collect page views and usage analytics — which pages are visited, how visitors navigate the Platform, and general usage patterns — using cookies and browser localStorage identifiers, so we can understand and improve the Platform. See Section 7 for details on the cookies and identifiers PostHog sets.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and maintain the Platform and provide our advertising and directory services
  • Process payments and activate Advertiser ZIP code listings
  • Connect consumers with local service providers in their area
  • Transmit consumer contact requests ("leads") to the Advertiser holding the exclusive listing for the relevant ZIP code and industry
  • Send transactional emails, including lead notifications, payment confirmations, account updates, and listing renewal reminders
  • Send automated follow-up emails to visitors who expressed interest in a ZIP code listing but did not complete their purchase (abandoned checkout recovery — see Section 3C)
  • Track banner advertisement click performance and display click metrics to the Advertiser in their account dashboard
  • Process and manage referral program credits
  • Generate SEO-optimized local directory pages for each ZIP code and industry served
  • Improve our Platform, services, and user experience through analytics
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and protect the security of the Platform

3. Specific Data Practices You Should Know About

A. Lead Submission Data

When a consumer submits a contact request on a Provider's listing page, their name, phone number, email address, and message are immediately transmitted to the Advertiser who holds the exclusive listing for that ZIP code. This data transmission is the core service we provide to Advertisers. By submitting a contact form, consumers consent to their information being shared with the relevant local Advertiser.

If no Advertiser holds the listing for the ZIP code and industry you contact, your request is not sent to anyone, and we do not keep your name, phone number, email address or message. We keep only the ZIP code, the industry and the time of the attempt.

B. Banner Advertisement Click Tracking

When a user clicks a banner advertisement on the Platform, we record the event in our database for the purpose of providing click performance metrics to the Advertiser. We store the banner ID, timestamp, ZIP code, industry category, and a one-way cryptographic hash of the visitor's IP address. We do not store your raw IP address. This anonymized data is used solely for advertising performance reporting and is not shared with third parties.

C. Abandoned Checkout (ZIP Reservation) Emails

If you enter your email address in the ZIP availability notification form without completing a purchase, we store your email and the ZIP code you expressed interest in. We will send you up to three (3) automated follow-up emails over a 48-hour period: an initial reservation confirmation, a follow-up reminder approximately 1 hour later, and a final reminder approximately 24 hours later. You may disregard these emails to stop receiving further follow-ups. We do not add you to any ongoing marketing list without your explicit consent.

D. Renewal Reminder Emails

Advertisers with active ZIP code listings will receive automated renewal reminder emails 30 days, 15 days, and 7 days before their listing expiration date. The reminders stop once the listing has been renewed, and their purpose is to help you avoid losing your ZIP code territory to a competitor when your listing period ends. These are transactional communications related to your paid listing agreement and are not optional marketing emails.

E. Anonymous Search Statistics

When you submit a ZIP code in one of our search boxes, we record the ZIP code, the industry if you chose one, the date, and a short one-way code made from your IP address and browser type using a random key that we delete at the end of that day. We do not store your IP address, your account, or any other personal information with it. The code only lets us count each visitor once per ZIP code and industry per day; once the key is deleted it cannot be linked back to you or to your searches on any other day. We use and publish only totals, for example how many searches a ZIP code has had in the last 30 days, and we do not publish a total below 3. We keep these daily records for 13 months. Searches made while signed in as an administrator are not recorded.

F. Affiliate Links

On ZIP code pages where no local Advertiser has claimed that territory, the Platform displays links to national service providers through affiliate marketing partnerships. Clicking these links may transfer you to a third-party website and may involve the third party's own tracking mechanisms (such as cookies or pixel tags). The Company may receive a referral commission from these affiliate partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party affiliate websites. See our Terms & Conditions Section 16 for full FTC disclosure.

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Advertisers (Intended Transmission): Consumer lead contact requests are shared with the relevant Advertiser as described in Section 3A above.
  • With Service Providers: We use the following trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:
    • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
    • Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com/privacy)
    • MongoDB Atlas — cloud database hosting (mongodb.com/legal/privacy)
    • PostHog — website analytics (posthog.com/privacy)
These providers have their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We require all service providers to maintain appropriate security measures.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government authority.
  • Protection of Rights: We may disclose information where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of our users or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify active Advertisers via email prior to any such transfer.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law:

  • Advertiser account data: Retained for 3 years after account closure
  • Lead contact requests: Retained for 2 years
  • Anonymous search statistics (ZIP, industry, date, one-way daily code): Retained for 13 months
  • Banner click records: Retained for 2 years (anonymized IP hash only)
  • ZIP reservation / abandoned checkout records: Retained for 12 months
  • Payment transaction records: Retained for 7 years in compliance with financial recordkeeping requirements
  • Email delivery logs: Retained for 1 year

After the applicable retention period, data is deleted or anonymized.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of all data in transit using TLS/SSL
  • Encrypted password storage using bcrypt hashing (passwords are never stored in plain text)
  • JWT-based authentication tokens with automatic 24-hour expiration
  • Stripe-hosted payment processing (we never store full card numbers or CVV codes)
  • Anonymized IP hashing for click tracking (raw IP addresses are not retained)
  • Access controls limiting employee and system access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use the following browser-based storage mechanisms:

  • localStorage (Authentication Token): We store your JWT authentication token in your browser's localStorage to maintain your login session. This is cleared when you log out.
  • Session Cookies: Standard session cookies may be set by our Platform to maintain functionality during your visit.
  • Analytics (PostHog): We use PostHog to set cookies and browser localStorage identifiers that track page views and usage patterns across the Platform. Affiliate partner links may also set their own third-party cookies. You can control third-party cookies through your browser settings.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in and use Platform functionality.
